• This work proposes deep learning based approach for decoding of Turbo product codes(TPCs). Deep Neural Network (DNN) decoder is used as the Soft-Input Soft-Output (SISO)decoder in the iterative decoding of product codes. The method implements one shot decoding thus enabling high level of parallelism.

  • As the meaning of the name corresponds to a robot which is automated in wall painting, this is a robot which can paint the interior walls of a room autonomously. The robot has a controlled movement in all the four directions without rotating the base of the robot by making use of the mecanum wheels. It also has three Ultrasonic sensors which helps the robot to move in a controlled way following the walls of a room.

The liver metabolises and detoxifies drugs and substances that are harmful to the body as well as produces blood clotting factors, proteins, and enzymes and helps maintain hormone balances, and stores vitamins and minerals.

CHETAK is built with an advanced and cost-effective infrastructure to make it a sophisticated service robot.

  • Human-animal conflicts arise due to the diminishing natural resources and habitats as a result of the rise of encroachments, poaching, urbanization, and industrialization. As a result, the loss in yield due to animal attacks has been on a steady increase in the past few years. Even though agriculture is a vast sector, the average farmer would find it difficult to invest in technological solutions to prevent loss in yield, especially for security purposes.

  • The joint effort by Amrita and Wipro has the goal of making diabetes care available, accessible and affordable for the Indian masses. Amrita and Wipro has envisaged a patient-centric solution wherein low cost diabetes care devices (glucose strips, glucometers & insulin pumps) will interact with users through mobile applications using the cloud gateway. Innovative features of the device will make diabetes management easier for Indian patients and physicians.

  • Self-E is an advanced wheelchair system capable of autonomous navigation at a low cost and having advanced technology. It was created to serve the people with disabilities for walking. It can be also used in the for the travelling and transport of the old age and the patients in hospital and other places.

  • In this proposed work, Cooperative Communication in Wireless Sensor Networks is analysed. Cooperative Communication helps in reliable information transfer and minimum energy. The node lifespan is dependent on energy efficiency and error performance.

  • Drug repurposing refers to finding alternate indications to approved drugs, leads in regular development cycles, or even compounds previously discontinued from development. This collaborative project between Amrita University (Bengaluru Campus) and Jawaharlal Nehru University (New Delhi) aims to develop web‐based UI landscapes to provide a data‐centric deep mining technique that lets researchers formulate sophisticated drug repositioning hypotheses.

  • Paripreksya 3.0 is a tele-operated UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle) developed at HuT Labs.It is a light weight robot capable of doing complex maneuvering, mobility and dexterity tasks. The robot typically consists of a mobile base and a manipulator.

  • The autonomous floor cleaning robot is designed to sweep and collect the dust and mop the room as well. The sweeping of the floor and collecting the dust happens one after the other followed by mopping the room. The intelligent mechanism added to the robot can identify and avoid obstacles while cleaning the robot. The autonomous algorithm, which is part of the design, takes care of operating the robot autonomously inside the room.

  • The project titled "Structured Dialogues for Sustainable Urban Water Management (CoPI)," is funded by DST: WTI-Urban Water Systems.

  • The main aim of the work is to analyse, characterize and validate the parameters involved in the system models of the SWIPT enabled Energy Harvesting Wireless Networks. The parameter under this study involves average Energy Harvested, average downlink rate, sensor control signal and Interference.The system model with Fusion Centre and sensors are analysed and respective problem is formulated using BLUE estimation technique.

  • The project titled “Autonomous Visual and Wireless Sensor Network based Smart Evacuation System" is submitted to DeitY. Dr. T. Senthil Kumar is the Principal Investigator. The duration of the project is 3 years. 

  • Smart Grid is the new generation power grid technology that can intelligently integrate devices, consumers and generators associated with it. Smart devices are placed throughout the smart grid system which can be automatically controlled using digital technology. This differentiates a smart grid from a traditional grid.

  • India is the second largest populated country in the world with more than 1.3 billion people having diverse culture, languages, food habits and tastes etc. Rice is a common staple food consumed by people all over India. A variety of food items can be prepared with rice including rice flakes, idly, appam, dosa etc. Of all these, dosa is one of the most popular dishes in India, usually consumed as breakfast and sometimes even as dinner.

  • This project is about building automated wheelchair for the elderly and physically challenged. It takes any destination which lies within a particular mapped location as input, calculates the shortest path to that location, and takes the user to the destination without any external aid. The entire floor plan of the house is divided as grids and coordinates are identified. Two different implementation mechanisms are available: FPGA based VLSI implementation and Raspberry-Pi based Embedded System implementation. LARN algorithm - Location Awareness and Remembrance Navigation algorithm is designed using Djikstra's shortest path algorithm to implement the auto-navigation functionality.

  • Nowadays, we see large variety of applications of robotic instruments, oriented to influence human living. Robots in nearly every domain, are helpful to lead a very comfortable life. Humans struck by partial paralysis undergo great difficulty to carry out daily activities. Nevertheless, after rigorous therapy, their motor controls can be regained if the severity levels of the stroke are not quite high.
