Dr Akshay S currently serves as Vice-Chairperson and Assistant Professor at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Mysuru Campus, with over 13 years of teaching experience and more than a decade of active research contributions.

He leads the AI in Healthcare and Forensics Research Group (TAG Head) and has published 80+ research papers spanning artificial intelligence, multimodal sensing, biomedical signal analysis, eye-tracking, and computational neuroscience.
