Amrita School of Business, Kochi, organised a colloquium, on 14th July, 2017. The resource person, Mr. Salil Pillai, Senior Manager, Customer success, Middle east & Gulf, Software-As-A-Service Suite, Oracle, guided and shared his thoughts on career choice to the students.
He expressed his views on recent technological advancements and their influence on the students’ choice of career. His emphasis on ‘Personality’, ‘Perseverance’ and ‘Passion’ showed new dimensions to the students to opt for the right career. An analysis of following the trends in choosing career and going with the passion was the most useful part of the session. In the recent years, when students are spoiled for choices to choose the right career, accurate and timely guidance makes a world of difference to their life.
