To raise awareness towards preserving the balance of nature, Amrita School of Pharmacy observed ‘World Nature Day’ on October 3, 2019.

A talk was delivered by Ms. Unnithan Gauri Ajith, 2^nd-year Pharm. D. student, which highlighted the climatic changes seen around the world. The recent fires in the Amazon rainforest and landslides in Kerala are examples that reveal the consequences of deforestation by human beings for developmental changes. For mitigating the current scenario of global warming, saplings were planted by student representatives of each batch to help in saving the world.
