On 6th October, 2016, a workshop on Cloud Computing was held by Mr. Pratik Pai, Director, Product and Research, LogicHive Solutions Pvt. Ltd. The session had covered topics such as features, history and evolution along with virtualization-storage, application, server and network, cloud deployment models, cloud service models, common cloud providers and services.
Mr. Pratik had also given an introduction to basic AWS and services, challenges in the cloud likesecurity, data privacy, performance and availability. An overview of cloud providers was also mentioned with hands-on demonstrations of creating an account on the cloud, starting a server instance, allocating storage and other resources and deploying an application.
