Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham Becomes Venue for ACM-ICPC Bootcamp

More than 120 computer engineering students from universities in 9 nations are participating at the ‘Hello Programming Bootcamp’ at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham to train for ACM-ICPC, the world’s toughest coding contest. The Bootcamp has been organized in collaboration with Harbour.Space, a renowned university for technology and design in Barcelona, while the faculty has been provided by the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in Russia.

More than 120 computer engineering students from universities across nine countries assembled at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham to train for ACM–ICPC bootcamp which has been organised in collaboration with Harbour.Space, a technology and design university in Barcelona.

Amrita Faculty Wins 'Asia Distinguished Leadership Award'

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham faculty, Anand Shenoi, won the ‘Distinguished Leadership Award for Asia’ by the U.S.-based Association for Computing Machinery-International Collegiate Programming Contest (ACM-ICPC). The award was in recognition of his efforts for strengthening the ACM-ICPC contest in Asia.
