Prof. Anand Patwardhan

Prof. Patwardhan’s research interests are in environment – climate studies, focusing on mitigation and adaptation responses to climate change, including the diffusion and adoption of clean Technology and broader issues of science, Technology, and innovation policy. He has been a member of the Scientific and Technical Advisory Panel (STAP) of the Global Environment Facility (GEF); and a coordinating lead author for the Fourth and Fifth Assessment Reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). Prior to joining the University of Maryland, Patwardhan was Professor and Head of the Shailesh J Mehta School of Management at the Indian Institute of Technology. Bombay and has served as the Executive Director of the Technology Information, Forecasting and Assessment Council (TIFAC). Patwardhan is currently co-chair of the Adaptation Research Alliance and the World Adaptation Science Program.

Jean-Christophe Carteron

After starting his career in the aeronautics industry, Carteron arrived at Kedge Business School in 2001 and headed the marketing department before piloting the school’s sustainability strategy for 14 years as Corporate Social Responsibility Director. In September 2021, Carteron decides to devote himself fully to a project launched with his colleague A. Decamps and became the President of Sulitest Impact.

Sulitest is the first online international platform to raise awareness and assess SD knowledge. Its best-known tool, the “Test” has been already taken by more than 200.000 people and is recognized as one of the tools for measuring and monitoring the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Prof. Subhasis Ray

Prof. Subhasis worked at National University of Ireland, leading the design, development, and delivery of the ‘Sustainable Enterprise’ module for a new online MSc in Sustainable Futures as part of the euro 4 million Sustainable Futures project led by leading Irish universities and industry partners like Microsoft and Logitech. Dr. Ray is the founding Chairperson of the Centre for Business and Society at XIM University, working with several global universities and leading corporations (Mahindra, Godrej, Akzo Nobel, Elgi Equipments) and Indian and European startups in sustainable business. He serves on the advisory board/task force on two leading European Union projects- RES4CITY (green transitions) and Batteries Europe (renewable energy).

Prof. Vivek Kumar Singh

Dr. Vivek Kumar Singh is Professor & former Head of Department of Computer Science at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, India. He is active in research and has published about 140 research papers, obtained 9 extramural research projects (total funding more than Rs 6.00 Crore) and supervised 11 doctoral and more than 75 master’s theses. He is editor of Journal of Scientometric Research (indexed in Scopus & ESCI) and is on review boards of more than 20 top- tier SCIE indexed international journals in Computer Science and Information Systems.

He joined Banaras Hindu University as Assistant Professor in Computer Science in 2004 and has been with Banaras Hindu University since then. He is currently working as Professor in Computer Science. He has also served as Faculty member at South Asian University (the SAARC nations International University) during 2011 to 2015 and played a major role in establishing Computer Science laboratories there. He has taught a variety of courses in Computer Science and Informatics at Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral levels. He has also delivered many invited lectures and courses for teachers, research scholars and academic administrators in Academic Staff Colleges and other Academic institutions in India and abroad.
