Smart Environment

The Center is in the process of developing an Integrated Water Monitoring Sensor Network (WMSN) to assess water quality and water wastage from different sources such as, primary water distribution centers ( water treatment plants, storage tanks), and secondary water distribution centers ( public and village tanks, industrial and residential complexes). In addition to water quality, other environmental parameters such as air quality, soil properties, moisture content, and wind are monitored and assessed to understand the effects of climate change.
