Communication through mutual exchange of ideas, is the defining factor of human life and its evolution. Mass communication, which involves conveying persuasive messages to a large audience, touches every sphere of human life in the contemporary world and encompasses us everywhere. At the department of Mass Communication, we equip students in an array of occupational streams, such as, advertising, public relations, marketing communication, print and multimedia journalism, photography, film studies and television production, design, new media, and media research, among others. Through a judicious mix of theory, research, practical approaches, and industry collaborations, we prepare students to be make a difference to the society and to meet the ever-evolving industry demands.
