NRI / NRI-S / OCI / PIO Students
Students holding passports issued by foreign countries including people of Indian origin who have acquired the nationality of foreign countries, and whose parent(s) or own brother/sister also holds similar status
Student with NRI status; students who are Indian citizens but have written their qualifying examination (equivalent to the 10+2) from a school or college abroad, and whose parent(s) or own brother or sister also holds NRI status.
Students who are pursuing their qualifying examination in India and
whose either or both parents / own brother or sister having NRI status.

OCI / PIO Students –
Foreign passport holders of Indian origin, whose parent/s or sibling also
hold OCI/PIO status.
Non-Resident Indians (NRI) –
Indian citizens who completed their qualifying (10+2 or equivalent) exams abroad, with parent/s or sibling holding NRI status.
NRI-Sponsored Students –
Candidates studying in India, sponsored by their parent/s or sibling with NRI status (must appear for AEEE/JEE where applicable).
MBBS, BDS, MD, MS, MDS, DM, MCh: Admission via NEET rank & DGHS counselling.
Other Health Sciences (Pharmacy, Nursing, Ayurveda, Nanotechnology, etc.): Selection is based on performance in the qualifying examination and the entrance exam conducted by Amrita.

UG Programmes:
10+2 performance + entrance exams (AEEE/JEE for B.Tech – NRI-Sponsored only).
Age: Born between 1st July 2004 and 30th June 2010 (For B.Tech admission).
PG Programmes: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent qualification.
Candidates must meet regulatory body requirements.
Candidates who have studied under a system different from CBSE/ICSE/State Boards, should obtain preferably ‘A’ grade (or equivalent) in ‘A’ level examination or its equivalent. Students who have taken Advanced Placement (AP) course will get preference. Candidates should have studied Maths, Chemistry and Physics in Grade 11 and Grade 12.
IB Diploma:
Candidate who have pursued IB Diploma should have passed IBD with Higher Level (HL) in Physics, Chemistry & Maths with Standard level (SL) passes in English A1, A2 or B
GCE/IGCE (UK):
Candidates who have pursued GCE/IGCE examinations of the approved
British Examination Bodies in UK (University of Cambridge, Edexcel etc.), should have passed it with Advanced Level in Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with passes in 5 subjects at OL with high grades.
