Title: Operation and Control Strategies of DC Microgrid

Now a days for less power losses and more integration of renewable energy sources DC microgrid is very popular in electrical market. Less conversion process and simplex control method also adds to the advantages of DC Micro grid and hence DC micro grid is gaining more importance in recent years. This work is about an effective control technique implementation in a DC microgrid for better energy and power management. There are many control techniques available but optimizing an effective intelligent control technique is not only the need of the hour but is also applicable for optimal power and energy management in a DC microgrid. DC microgrid does not involve frequency term and so control technique is purely depend upon active power. Proper power and energy management is the key direction for the research. Active power management and load sharing is focus of the work with the help of a suitable controller Mitigating Power losses is also a key parameter.
