Machine translation is the one of the emerging trends in the field of Computer Science. It is one of the most seasoned and the most dynamic region in natural language handling. Modern day communication which is focused on mobile phones has sustained growth and progress, thus providing an imperative communication. It is mainly based on mobile phones irrespective of the technology, and plays a vital role in developing translation among different languages. Machine Transliteration is the procedure of a programmed change in the string of a word from a source language to an objective language, while protecting pronunciation. Objective this work is to improve the transliteration of English to Tamil script. Extension of this work can be recognize Tamil letters from inscriptions.
