The 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi was observed in October 2019 at Amrita School of Pharmacy. To spread the timeless message of ahimsa (non-violence or love) and satya (truth) of the great leader, a talk and a quiz by Ms. Maria Binu Jacob, 2nd year B. Pharm. student, was organized. In accordance with our Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s message to fulfill Mahatma Gandhi’s dream of a ‘Swachh Bharat’ (Clean India), a clean-up drive was conducted in the afternoon by students and staff.
