The group mainly focuses on the development of analytical method development techniques and a wide range of samples from small molecules, like chemical entities in plant extracts, to proteins and peptides are being analyzed and characterized. The main areas that the group focus on includes characterization and identification of bio-active peptides from marine algal endophytes & snake venom, venom proteomics, antivenomics & functional characterization of medically important snake species, development of qualitative and quantitative workflows using high performance liquid chromatography & mass spectrometry and glycobiology.
