Bio

Dr. S. R. Mohanrajan currently serves as Assistant Professor (Sl. Gd.) at the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore Campus. Dr. S. R. Mohanrajan is with Amrita since 2006 and his research is focused on Power Electronics, Electric Vehicle, Solar and Wind Energy systems.
He received bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from University of Madras in 2004 and Master’s degree in Power Electronics & Drives from Anna University, Chennai in 2006. He has completed his Ph. D. in the area of Power Electronics and Renewable Energy in 2021 from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore under Erasmus Mundus Fellowship (EURECA) as research exchange student at KTH, Sweden.
His current research project topics include model-based development of power converter control for Electric Vehicle, Control of Power converters in Wind, Solar powered microgrid, Development of AI based modulation strategies for bidirectional converters and High-frequency power electronic converters using wide bandgap semiconductors.
