Dr. (Brig.) Sushil Kumar serves as the Associate Professor of the Department of Anatomy at the School of Medicine, Faridabad.
Dr (Brig) Sushil Kumar is an alumnus of the prestigious Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), New Delhi. He graduated in 1986 and completed his MS (Anatomy) in 1991 from MAMC. He subsequently served as a Senior Resident in the Department of Anatomy at MAMC for two years before joining the Army Medical Corps in 1993.
Brigadier Kumar was associated with the premier Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune, for more than two decades in various academic and administrative capacities. He held the esteemed position of Professor and Head of the Department of Anatomy at AFMC from 2014 to 2020, during which he trained and mentored numerous postgraduate students pursuing MD Anatomy.
He has authored 13 books across various domains of Anatomy and has contributed a chapter on Medical Education. He has also served as an examiner and paper setter for both undergraduate and postgraduate examinations for several medical universities across India, including the National Board of Examinations.
With over 35 research publications in national and international journals, Dr. Kumar serves on the editorial boards of multiple medical journals. His core areas of interest include Clinical Anatomy and Medical Education.
