Job Description
| Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualize, plan, and develop interior design schemes aligned with architectural objectives and institutional standards.
- Prepare and review interior layouts, reflected ceiling plans, furniture layouts, joinery details, and material specifications using AutoCAD and related software.
- Coordinate design development with architects, consultants, and engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of interiors with building systems.
- Select finishes, colors, lighting, and furnishings that enhance functionality, aesthetics, and user experience.
- Conduct site evaluations to assess spatial layouts, design feasibility, and execution quality.
- Supervise interior works on-site, ensuring design intent, workmanship, and materials meet approved standards.
- Prepare BOQs, material submittals, and assist in procurement of interior-related items in coordination with vendors and contractors.
- Review and approve shop drawings, material samples, and mock-ups before execution.
- Ensure all interior designs comply with safety, accessibility, and sustainability standards.
- Maintain detailed project documentation, progress reports, and ensure timely completion of all interior-related deliverables.
Additional Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design, or Civil Engineering
- Strong design visualization skills and proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or equivalent design tools.
- Excellent coordination, communication, and design detailing abilities.
- Knowledge of materials, finishes, and current interior design trends preferred.
