| Job description
|
- Serve as the chief technical mentor and guide for all IDEA Lab activities.
- Provide hands-on training and mentoring to students and faculty in areas such as:
- Product Design and Development o Rapid Prototyping (3D Printing, CNC, Laser Cutting, Coil Winding etc.)
- Embedded Systems, IoT, Robotics, and Automation
- Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Data Science
- PCB Design, Fabrication, and Testing
- Guide project teams from ideation to proof-of-concept and prototype development.
- Manage lab equipment, ensure safety protocols, and maintain lab operational efficiency.
- Organize workshops, hackathons, innovation challenges, and outreach programs.
- Assist in preparing project documentation, progress reports, and showcase outcomes for funding agencies and stakeholders.
- Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and encourage startup culture.

| Experience
|
- Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in innovation labs, R&D centers, or product development roles.
- Candidates with proven experience in mentoring student teams, startups, or running maker spaces will be preferred
|
| Technical Skills
|
- Proficiency in CAD design and simulation tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion 360)
- Programming in Python, C/C++, or MATLAB o Hands-on experience with microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi, etc.)
- Familiarity with AI/ML tools, hardware interfacing, and sensors
- 3D Printing, Laser Cutting, and Electronics Fabrication tools
