Water scarcity is a major problem in India and directly impacts the villages which rely mostly on agriculture. As water becomes scarce, using it properly is even more important. Technology can help in that respect. Research is ongoing at Amrita University to help develop precision farming in the area of irrigation. Based on his work on this project, the student presented a paper in a IEEE conference in Chennai.
