This field moots social change and serves as the cornerstone to empowering people. Participatory research-action projects are crucial for social work as these projects have a far reach concerning communities.

At the School of Social and Behavioural Sciences, students are bestowed with an opportunity to transcend theoretical knowledge by engaging in educational endeavors that help hone their skills. The School has collaborations with well-respected national and international NGOs and organizations in the field of Social Sciences. With these projects, students get the option to extend their learning beyond the confines of the classrooms.

In the past, we have been able to leverage our partnerships to work on many social projects. The students can also participate in ongoing projects in the area of vocational education, women’s empowerment, implementation sciences, rural technologies, 21st-century skills, and social sciences.
