Bio

Dr. Aiswarya Lakshmi M. currently serves as Assistant Professor at the Department of English, School of Arts and Sciences, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Kochi. She guides three Ph.D. candidates at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in the area of Travel Writing, Film Studies and Diasporic Studies.

Dr. Aiswarya Lakshmi M. received his Ph. D. in English from Kannur University, Kerala. She has done her Masters in English Language and literature (M. A.) from University of Calicut and B.Ed. in English from Government College Teacher Education from Calicut University. She has 8 years of experience in teaching, 4 years in research.

Her area of research includes queer studies, ELT and Women’s writing

She has more than eight years of experience in teaching. Her post Ph. D. teaching experience is one and a half years. Currently, she works as an Assistant Professor at Amrita School of Arts and Sciences, Kochi Campus of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, focusing on teaching and research. A flair for adopting the latest technologies enabled her to establish a new vertical in the Department of English.
