Sanketika, is a quarterly technical magazine, that is published by students of the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Amritapuri. Articles are written by students and faculty members in the fields of science and technology. In addition, there is a brief recap of recent world events.
Placement tips find a prominent place in the magazine also. The ultimate aim is to broaden the spectrum of student knowledge and help them prepare better for their careers.
Sanketika was launched on April 20, 2007. The first copy was handed over by Swami Poornamritananda Puri to renowned Film Director, Sri Kamal. In spite of hectic student schedules, the magazine has mostly printed on time, each time. As senior students graduate, juniors take their place on the editorial team to keep the magazine going.
