Bio

Dr. Aishwarya N. currently serves as an Assistant Professor (Selection Grade) in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Amrita School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai.

She earned her B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering and M.E. in Communication Systems, both with first-class distinction and a university rank at the postgraduate level. She completed her doctoral degree at Anna University, Chennai.
With around 13 years of experience in teaching and research, Dr. Aishwarya has authored more than 35 peer-reviewed publications in reputed international journals and conferences and has contributed book chapters to the IET and Springer series, gaining visibility within the global research community. She has also completed professional certifications from platforms such as NPTEL, Coursera, Udemy, Infosys Springboard, and Great Learning, with a focus on deep learning and image processing.

Her research focuses on computer vision, signal and image processing, and applied artificial intelligence for healthcare, agriculture, and aquaculture. Her work primarily involves deep learning, sensor analytics, and the development of efficient models. Currently, she is expanding her research into emerging paradigms such as Generative Artificial Intelligence and quantum artificial intelligence, aiming to explore their potential in advancing intelligent systems.

She actively contributes to the research ecosystem as a reviewer for leading journals, including Infrared Physics and Technology, Biomedical Signal Processing and Control, Scientific Reports, and Signal, Image and Video Processing. She also serves as a Doctoral Committee Member for four Ph.D. scholars.

Dr. Aishwarya is an active member of professional bodies such as IEEE, where she serves as the Faculty Advisor for the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS), and the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE). She has also delivered invited sessions and guest lectures, including Faculty Development Programs organized by the IEEE Signal Processing Society.
