Job Title IoT/Drone Security Engineer

Qualification

  • B.Tech/M.Tech in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related fields.

  • Hands-on experience in intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), cryptography, and secure communication protocols.

  • Familiarity with UAV systems, IoT security architectures, and embedded security.

  • Knowledge of anti-tampering, key management, and secure firmware update practices is desirable.

  • Experience in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and secure DevSecOps workflows preferred.
Job Description

  • Design and implement real-time IDS/IPS solutions tailored for UAV telemetry, control signals, and mission-critical communication.

  • Develop and integrate VPN-based access control, device authentication, and anti-tampering mechanisms to ensure secure UAV operation.

  • Implement advanced defensive resilience techniques such as crypto-shredding, key zeroization, secure boot, and tamper-evident logging.

  • Collaborate with AI/ML teams to build anomaly detection models and adaptive threat response capabilities.

  • Conduct UAV system-level security assessments, penetration tests, and red-team exercises to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.

  • Define security policies, key rotation strategies, and certificate management for UAV fleets and IoT edge devices.

  • Support compliance with cybersecurity standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, DO-326A) and aerospace safety requirements.

  • Contribute to the design of secure communication protocols and encryption layers for UAV-to-ground and UAV-to-cloud links.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to integrate security into firmware, hardware, and cloud components from early design stages.
