Bio

Dr. Manoj Kumar Panda currently serves as an Associate Professor at the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), School of Engineering (ASE), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Bengaluru campus.

He was earlier with the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), School of Engineering (ASE), Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore. Prior to joining Amrita, he held research positions at Swinburne University of Technology, Australia, at INRIA, Sophia Antipolis, France, and at Telecom SudParis, France. He worked at Satyam Computer Services Ltd., Bangalore, for about two years where he won the ‘Star Performer’ award.

Dr. Panda holds the degree of M. Tech. (IIT Kanpur) and Ph.D. (IISc Bangalore). He has a few best paper awards to his credit and has mentored a group of students that won in the Grand Finale round of the Smart India Hackathon (SIH) – 2019. He was a fellow at the IPAM, University of California Los Angeles, for its Fall 2015 Program on “New Directions in Mathematical Approaches for Traffic Flow Management”.
