Job Title Project Engineer II – IoT/Drone Engineer
Location Kollam, Kerala

Qualification

  • B.Tech in CSE, ECE, IoT, Mechatronics, or related fields.

  • Basic understanding of IoT communication protocols (MQTT, HTTPS, CoAP, WebSockets).

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, edge computing, and RESTful API development is desirable.

  • Exposure to UAV systems, telemetry data handling, and sensor integration preferred.
Job Description

  • Develop and implement MQTT, HTTPS, and WebSocket-based communication APIs for UAV telemetry and mission data exchange.

  • Assist in integrating UAV platforms with cloud and edge computing environments through SDKs and APIs.

  • Support IoT-based sensor integration, including IMU, GPS, and mission payloads, and ensure reliable data acquisition and transmission.

  • Contribute to the design and development of UTM (Unmanned Traffic Management) and 5G-based airspace coordination modules.

  • Collaborate with software, embedded, and cloud teams to ensure end-to-end data flow and interoperability across UAV components.

  • Participate in building operator APIs, mission dashboards, and control interfaces for UAV systems.

  • Perform basic testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for telemetry and sensor data pipelines.

  • Document API specifications, integration workflows, and communication interfaces.
