Amrita University's Work Showcased at the 39th All India Cell Biology Conference

Researchers from Amrita School of Biotechnology presented posters at the XXXIX All India Cell Biology Conference, organized jointly by Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) and Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB), Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, from December 6-8, 2015.

Annual Amrita GI Endo Meet (A-GEM) 2016 Held

A two-day hands-on endoscopy workshop, Amrita GI Endo Meet (A-GEM), was held at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences during January 16–17, 2016. The workshop aimed at teaching specialized endoscopic procedures for the diagnosis and treatment of certain gastrointestinal disorders, to upcoming gastrointestinal physicians from across the country. 

Amrita University joins Indo-Canada Collaboration on Municipal Wastewater Treatment

Amrita University has had partnered with The India-Canada Centre for Innovative Multidisciplinary Partnerships to Accelerate Community Transformation and Sustainability (IC-IMPACTS) to develop and implement community-based solutions to meet the most urgent needs of Canada and India: poor water quality, unsafe and unsustainable infrastructure, and poor health from waterbornewater-borne and infectious diseases. The collaboration is to develop and test local solutions that can be scaled up across India and Canada. 

Best Poster and Oral Presentation Travel Awards for Amrita Nano Center Researchers

Researchers from Amrita Center for Nanosciences and Molecular Medicine won Best Poster and Oral Presentation Travel Awards at the International Conference on Nanotechnology 'Nano Today 2015' at Dubai, during 5-9 Dec 2015. 

Amrita School of Business, Coimbatore hosted its Annual Alumni Meet
