Madhulika Srivastava currently serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering, School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai Campus.

Madhulika Srivastava, a Ph.D. Scholar in the Mechanical Engineering Department at Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, Jharkhand, has submitted her thesis and is waiting to defend the same. Her research focussed on “Peening of Austenitic Stainless Steel Surfaces Using Ultrasonic Pulsating Water Jet Technology”. She also received her Master’s in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Manufacturing from the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, Jharkhand and carried out her master’s thesis on the topic, “Friction Surfacing of Ferrous and Non-ferrous Alloys”. Before joining her Master’s, she was CSIR-NET JRF and GATE qualified.

Madhulika Srivastava carried out her research under the collaboration of the Institute of Geonics, Ostrava (Czech Academy of Sciences), Czech Republic, and the Indian Institute of Technology (Indian School of Mines), Dhanbad, Jharkhand. She also received the ERASMUS+ Scholarship from the Technical University of Kosice, Slovakia, during her Ph.D. Her published work deals with the areas of water jet technology, peening and friction surfacing. Till date, she has published 9 papers (3 as first author, 1 as corresponding author and 5 as co-author) indexed in SCIE/Web of Science Journals, with good impact factors. Additionally, she has published 8 Scopus-indexed Conference papers (3 as first author and 5 as co-author). She has also received Awards for Best Paper (Gold and Bronze) in International Conferences.
