  • Master’s Degree in Commerce (M.Com) / Accountancy / Finance or Management (with specialization in Accounting/Finance) with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) from a recognized university.

  • Qualification in NET / SET / SLET conducted by UGC, or a Ph.D. in the relevant discipline as per UGC guidelines.
Job description

  • An Assistant Professor (Finance / Management), possessing a strong passion for teaching and a commitment to developing and delivering high-quality academic content in the areas of Accounting, Finance, and Management.
Responsibility

  • Deliver lectures, tutorials, and seminars on assigned subjects in Accountancy, Financial Management, and related areas, ensuring effective and engaging instruction. 

  • Develop, update, and implement course content, syllabi, and learning materials that reflect contemporary accounting standards, industry practices, and pedagogical advancements. 

  • Conduct scholarly research in accounting, finance, or management domains and contribute to high-quality academic publications. 

  • Provide mentorship and academic counseling to students, guiding them in academic planning, professional development, and career pathways in commerce and management sectors. 

  • Supervise student projects, internships, fieldwork, and other experiential learning activities, ensuring practical exposure to accounting and managerial concepts. 

  • Design and administer student assessments, including assignments, examinations, and presentations, while offering constructive feedback to support student growth. 

  • Participate actively in departmental meetings, academic committees, accreditation work, and contribute to the formulation and enhancement of institutional policies and academic programmes.
