Job Description The Placement Manager plans, coordinates, and executes campus recruitment and placement activities for students across all university programs. The role focuses on strengthening corporate relationships, enhancing placement quality, and creating career opportunities aligned with the university’s reputation and students’ aspirations.
Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the entire placement process, including internships, projects, and final placements.

  • Improve placement outcomes in terms of job profiles, salary levels, recruiter diversity, and industry reach.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with companies through visits, networking, and corporate outreach.

  • Promote the university and its programs to reputed organizations to enhance visibility and attract quality recruiters.

  • Bring in new recruiters annually while retaining and strengthening ties with existing partners.

  • Leverage alumni networks and professional contacts to generate opportunities.

  • Collaborate with placement teams across campuses to share industry leads and best practices.

  • Prepare placement brochures, recruiter kits, and student profiles; act as the primary contact for recruiters, students, and faculty.

  • Organize pre-placement talks, recruitment drives, career workshops, and skill-building sessions.

  • Collect feedback from employers on student and alumni performance; share insights with academic teams for program improvement.

  • Track and report placement data, industry trends, and progress to senior leadership.

  • Adhere to placement policies defined by the Directorate of Corporate & Industry Relations (CIR) or equivalent authority.

  • Travel extensively to meet recruiters, attend industry events, and explore emerging job markets.
