Experiences with Amma

I was introduced to Amma by my dear friend, Professor Venkat Rangan. He invited me to join the CEO Summit held concurrently with Amma’s 50th birthday celebration in 2003. It was a satisfying, peaceful, and heartfelt experience for me to get Amma’s darshan during that visit. I have since visited Amrita University many times and have had many fruitful interactions with the excellent leadership at the university, including Amma.
Amma has created an excellent group of educational institutions. In a very short time, Amrita University has become a leading institution of higher learning in India. I have had privilege of interacting with faculty and students at the university. The faculty members are accomplished individuals in their respective fields who have been attracted to Amrita from across the globe. Everyone is dedicated to the institution and the service mission of the academic endeavor, and the university is making a real difference for the people of India and the world. I am very fortunate and extremely proud to be associated with Amrita through our cooperative programs and look forward to further strengthening our collaboration.
