Candidates who have been allotted seat in Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi for MBBS by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) through centralized common counseling, should report at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi on or before the last date of reporting as per MCC guidelines.
Reporting Venue:
Dental College Building – 2nd Floor, Amrita School of Dentistry, AIMS Ponekkara P.O, Kochi – 682041
Reporting Time: 9.00 AM – 3.00 PM (Admission process will take one-day duration)
Documents / Original Certificates to be Submitted on the Day of Reporting
Allotment Letter issued by MCC
Admit Cards of Exam issued by NTA.
NEET Score Card of the candidate.
Date of Birth Certificate (if Metric Certificate does not bear the same)
Class 10th Certificate
Class 10+2 Certificate
Class 10+2 Marks Sheet
Eight (8) Passport size photograph same as affixed on the application form.
Proof of identity (Aadhar/ PAN/ Driving Licence/ Passport)
One set of self-attested copies of all the above mentioned documents should be submitted.
In addition to the above, NRI candidates are required to produce the below documents:
OCI/ PIO card of the candidate, if applicable (For OCI/PIO/Foreign national candidate, citizenship certificate/ card number documents are mandatory)
Self-Attested Declaration stating that the candidate is NRI/ OCI/ PIO or child of NRI parents (Copy of format enclosed below)

Documents claiming that the sponsor is an NRI (Passport, Visa of the sponsor).
Embassy Certificate of the Sponsor (Certificate from the Consulate).
Relationship of NRI with the candidate as per the court orders of The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in case W.P.(c) No. 689/2017- Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Ans. Vs Union of India & Ors. dated 22- 08- 2017.
Affidavit from the sponsor that he/ she will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate duly notarized.
One set of self-attested copies of all the above mentioned documents should be submitted.
The Candidate should also bring the following certificate, if applicable:
SC/ST Certificate issued by the competent authority (in the standard format as specified in the prospectus/information bulletin) and it should be in English or Hindi in language. Sub caste should be clearly mentioned in the Some of the States insist for English version of Caste Certificate. In case the certificate is in regional language the candidate should carry an Attested translated copy of the certificate in English/Hindi.
OBC-NCL as per Central List certificate issued by the competent authority. The sub- caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. The OBC candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer to claim OBC reservation benefit. The OBC certificate must be in the standard format as mentioned in the prospectus/Information Bulletin.
EWS Certificate as per the prescribed format. Candidates are advised to see college information, of allotted college for, any other document which may be required by the allotted college
Candidates without original certificates/documents shall not be allowed to take admission in allotted Medical/ Dental College.
The above certificates mentioned are mandatory and have to be submitted in to Dental College at the time of reporting for admission.
Candidates reporting for admissions with incomplete list of the above documents will not be allowed to undertake the admission procedure & will be rejected. The same will be intimated to DGHS.
Candidates who have deposited their original documents with any other Institute/ College/University and come for admission with a certificate stating that “their original certificates are deposited with the Institute / College / University” will not be allowed to take admission in allotted Medical College.
Candidates are advised to keep with them a softcopy/hardcopy of all the submitted documents for their future requirements.

For General Category
Total Tuition Fees of Rs.14,00,000/- for the entire duration of the course period (4 years) should be paid in five equal instalments of Rs.3,50,000/- in the beginning of each academic year. Hostel & Mess Fees per year is 88,000/- which is to be paid at the beginning of every academic year for the entire course duration.
For NRI Category
Total Tuition Fees of US $ 24,000 /- for the entire duration of the course period (4 years) should be paid in five equal instalments of US $ 6,000/- in the beginning of each academic year. Hostel & Mess Fees per year is US $1,600 which is to be paid at the beginning of every academic year for the entire course duration.
For Other Fees
Every Academic year, Other Fees is common to both seat categories and has to be paid in INR only.
Admission Processing Charge.
Hard Copy of the Demand Draft for Admission Processing Charge to be submitted in Admission Office at the time of document verification.

Note: – Before physically reporting to the institute, candidates should pay the first year course fees i.e. Tuition fees + Other Fees +Hostel Fees by RTGS/NEFT even though they have paid Rs.2,00,000/- to MCC (DGHS). They should not pay the annual course fees with a deduction of Rs. 2,00,000/.

Payment other than admission processing charge by demand draft, cheque or cash will not be accepted
Documents to Download & to be Submitted at the Time of Reporting for Admission
The following admission related documents should be downloaded & duly filled by the candidate without leaving any column blank. These documents should be submitted on the day of reporting for admission: –
Medical Certificate for Physical Fitness – for Physical Fitness and Mental Soundness from a Medical Officer not below the rank of a Civil Surgeon or a Clinical Associate Professor of a Medical College (should be submitted as per the format prescribed)
Admission Cancellation and Fee Refund Policy 2025-2026
Scenario
Purpose
Medical Seats
In scenarios of upgradation /resignation of medical seats during the Rounds of MCC Counselling as per DGHS norms.
Admission Processing Charges of Rs. 2500 will be deducted.
Candidate cancels admission (in any circumstance) leaving the seat vacant for the entire course duration
First year Course Fees paid will not be refunded. In addition to this, residents should pay the Tuition Fees for the remaining course duration (as applicable to each course) as liquidated damages to the institution.
