Dr. Mona N. Shah

She has made significant contributions to pioneering research and academic program development in real estate, infrastructure, and project management education in India, having conceived and designed over 120 courses and several postgraduate programs. Her work extends across sunrise sectors such as the built environment, sport, healthcare, agribusiness, and the green economy, where she actively develops thought leadership and policy insights of national and international importance.

Dr. Shah is widely recognized for her research contributions, having authored over 93 refereed research papers and case studies in international journals in the Built Environment. She has also published three books: Millennials Poised to Lead (2020, Amazon), Real Estate Marketing (2009, Lambert), and the edited volume Property Matters Made Easy (2001, India Properties Com Pvt. Ltd.). She continues to shape knowledge dissemination as a reviewer for reputed journals including the International Journal of Construction Management, International Journal of Managing Projects in Business (IJMPB), Journal of Housing Research, and Journal of Construction Innovation.

Her academic leadership has been acknowledged with teaching and research excellence awards from the Indian Buildings Congress, CRIOCM, and NICMAR. She has served as Visiting Professor at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (HKPU) and Liverpool John Moores University (UK), alongside her associations with several leading Indian institutions. Dr. Shah has also played an influential role in academic publishing as a Member of the Editorial Board of the Journal of Project Management Research in Practice (UTS, Sydney) and as Editor of the NICMAR Journal of Construction Management.

This presentation highlights the pivotal role of SDG 4 – Quality Education as an enabler of all other Sustainable Development Goals.
