Bio

Dr. Vysakh K. K. is an Assistant Professor (Level 10) at the Center for Cybersecurity Systems and Networks, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry focused on educational psychology and has over 14 years of experience in interdisciplinary research, teaching, and digital pedagogy. His post-doctoral research at the Center focused on the convergence of education, psychology, sustainability, and cybersecurity, particularly in the domains of cyberpsychology, self-efficacy, and behavioral intention in technology-enhanced learning environments. He has played a pivotal role in the development and dissemination of Amrita Virtual Labs, serving as a Subject Matter Expert and Nodal Centre Coordinator. Dr. Vysakh has published extensively in reputed journals such as Scientific Reports, International Journal of Educational Technology in Higher Education, Computers & Education, Computers & Security, and Education and Information Technologies. He is a recipient of the Amrita Innovation & Research Award (AIRA) in both 2024 and 2025. In 2025, he served as Handling Editor for Frontiers in Reproductive Health and Frontiers in Education. He also serves on editorial boards and as a peer reviewer for several international journals, and has represented Amrita in global academic forums, including the Commonwealth of Learning’s (COL) East Africa workshop.
