Digital Signal controllers: Introduction, file registers, memory organization, interrupts, peripherals: Ports, Timer, ADC, PWM, Communication protocols: CAN. Redundancy and safety features of DSCs: multi-core architecture, error detection and correction features, sensor fusion. Signal generation: PWM, SPWM and servo signals. Filtering algorithms: FIR filters, IIR filters. Control Algorithms: P, PI, PID controllers, Fourier Transforms: DFT, FFT, DCT algorithms.
Simulation/hardware experiments with latest digital signal controllers.
