Abstract : In today's world, automatic coffee makers are essential to provide effective and refreshing beverage service. This paper introduces an innovative control algorithm specifically designed for coffee automation systems. The algorithm utilizes Verilog Hardware Description Language (HDL) to enable the operation of nine unique beverage modes, such as caramel frappe, affogato, cappuccino, espresso, and milk. Utilizing programmable logic, the algorithm was developed and validated using the Questa Sim software, demonstrating its ability to improve operational efficiency and user experience. By implementing a finite state machine (FSM) architecture, the algorithm guarantees accurate measurement of ingredients, and intuitive user-friendly experiences. The system’s module architecture enables smooth incorporation of supplementary features and scalability, eliminating the need for hardware adjustments. This paper underscores the conceptualization, execution, and the efficacy of the automated coffee machine control system, which streamlines the process of preparing coffee in commercial and residential environments.
