On the occasion of International Day of Sign Languages the UNESCO Chair on Assistive Technologies in Education (ATE), School of Computing, AMRITA CREATE, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, is hosting a webinar titled “Advancing Indian Sign Language: Interpretation, Technology, and Inclusive Education.”

This webinar features an excellent lineup of speakers who will discuss the importance of Indian Sign Language (ISL) for education, empowerment, and inclusion. This virtual event will be especially relevant for educators, disability activists, researchers, students, and professionals in the fields of inclusive education, disability studies, assistive technologies, and public policy.
