Bio

Dr. Arun S K is a board-certified anesthesiologist with a robust academic background, including an MBBS from Mandya institute of medical sciences, mandya. MD from AIIMS Patna, DNB in Anaesthesiology, and a fellowship in Solid Organ Transplant Anaesthesiology and Critical Care from Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi. With hands-on experience across premier institutions, he has developed specialized expertise in administering anesthesia for complex solid organ transplant surgeries—liver, kidney, pancreas, heart, and lung—as well as in managing critically ill patients in dedicated transplant ICUs.

Dr. Arun has been involved in diverse clinical roles in tertiary and quaternary care centers including AIIMS Patna, Aster RV Hospital, and SS Sparsh Hospital, where he gained comprehensive exposure to high-risk surgeries in gastrointestinal, neurosurgical, urology, and CTVS domains. He is also actively engaged in academic teaching, mentoring DNB students, and has presented research and clinical work on national and international platforms.

In addition to his clinical acumen, he has authored multiple case reports and contributed to randomized control trials, reflecting a keen interest in academic medicine and evidence-based practice. Known for his collaborative approach, humility, and continuous curiosity, Dr. Arun remains committed to advancing transplant anesthesia and critical care while striving to deliver high-quality patient-centered outcomes.
