Bio

Deepa Raj K is currently working as an Assistant Professor (On Contract) in the School of Artificial Intelligence, at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, India. She holds a B.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from M. G. University, Kerala, and a M.Tech. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Artificial Intelligence, with a research focus on developing AI-driven methodologies for healthcare applications, particularly in the analysis and classification of complex neurological conditions such as Parkinson’s Disease.

Her key research interests include nonlinear dynamics, signal processing, digital health systems, artificial intelligence, and complex networks/network science. She is particularly interested in exploring the temporal and structural complexity of physiological signals such as speech and gait, using tools like recurrence quantification analysis, graph-based learning, and multimodal data fusion to support early diagnosis and clinical decision-making.
