Bhawana is an Assistant Professor and is pursuing her PhD from Amrita School of Business. She conferred her B. Com (Hons) from Delhi University, CA from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and CPA from American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, USA. She has more than 7 years of teaching experience at ASB, 8 years of industry experience involving 4 years of practice as a Chartered Accountant, 2 years with Dhabriya Agglomerates Pvt Limited and 2 years with Cyber Media (India) Limited.

Her areas of interests are family business, earnings management, accounting and finance, taxation and corporate governance. She is currently working on financial decisions of family firms.
