  • A Master’s degree in Management or Commerce or allied discipline from a recognized university.

  • A minimum of 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale) in the Master's degree.

  • National Eligibility Test (NET) qualified/ SET or Ph.D. exemption for NET (if applicable).
Job description

  • The Assistant Professor (Management) is responsible for teaching management, commerce, or allied disciplines, conducting research, and mentoring students. 

  • The role includes developing course materials, engaging in academic activities, and contributing to the department’s growth. 

  • Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in management, including subjects like marketing, finance, human resources, commerce and operations. 

  • Develop and update course syllabi to ensure they align with current management trends and industry practices. 

  • Conduct research in management and contribute to academic publications, conferences, and industry studies. 

  • Mentor students by providing academic guidance and supporting their career development. 

  • Design, evaluate, and grade student assignments, exams, and projects with constructive feedback. 

  • Participate in departmental meetings, academic committees, and contribute to the development of new programs and initiatives. 

  • Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops, seminars, and industry events to stay updated in the management field.
