Job description We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Django Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience developing and maintaining scalable web applications with Python and the Django framework. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and optimise applications that meet business and user needs
Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Django-based web applications. 

  • Build RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services. 

  • Write clean, efficient, and reusable code following best practices. 

  • Implement and maintain database models, queries, and migrations (PostgreSQL/MySQL). 

  • Ensure application security, scalability, and performance.

  • Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to deliver features. 

  • Debug, troubleshoot, and optimise code for reliability. 

  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Python and Django framework (1+ years preferred).

  • Experience with Django REST Framework (DRF) for API development.

  • Must have a solid understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and non-relational databases (MongoDB) and ORM concepts.

  • Knowledge of Git/GitLab and collaborative workflows.

  • Hands-on experience with Redis is a must.

  • Experience with Celery for task scheduling.

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.

  • Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to machine learning/data processing pipelines.

  • Exposure to deployment on any cloud service (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus
