Job description

  • As a Post-Doctoral fellow in microgrid research lab, he/she has the opportunity to work on research projects aimed at design and development in Microgrid cluster, blockchain for smart microgrid/grid.

  • He/She can collaborate with a team of experts in the field and have access to state-of-the-art equipment and facilities
Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent research in the field of Microgrid technologies (transition towards Smartgrid prototype)

  • Inclined to Learn, Contrive and Develop various control algorithms for battery augmented 3kW Wind-Solar Rooftop renewable power system interfaced with WAVECT controller (Funded Project)

  • Develop innovative algorithms for improving the efficiency and reliability of electrical power systems

  • Collaborate with other researchers and industry partners to advance in the field

  • Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals and disseminate research findings at conferences
Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering/Thesis under review or a related field

  • Strong background in power systems, control systems, renewable energy technologies and insight on optimization algorithms and implementation.

  • Experience with smart grid technologies and renewable energy systems is an added merit.

  • Adequate programming skills in MATLAB, Python, BLOCKCHAIN or other relevant languages

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
