Candidates who have been allotted seats in Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences for MD and MS courses by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) through centralized common counseling should report at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi on or before the last date of reporting as per MCC guidelines. 

Candidates should bring their Provisional Allotment Letter issued by DGHS, original and copies of certificates and proof of online payment receipt of first year fees and submit the same. Candidates without original certificates/documents/payment proof shall not be allowed to undertake admission process and same will be intimated to DGHS. 

Before reporting, candidates should remit their first year course fees* (Tuition Fees + Other Fees + Admission Processing Charges** only) through online mode and proof of fee remittance should be e-mailed to pgadmissions@aims.amrita.edu 

* Hostel Fees to be paid only after checking availability during the document verification 

** The Admission Processing charges is non-refundable in the event of resignation or upgradation

  1. Allotment Letter issued by MCC (Essential document). 
  2. Admit Card issued by NBE. 
  3. Result/Rank Letter issued by NBE. 
  4. Copies of Pan Card & Aadhar (2 Copies) 
  5. Mark Sheet of MBBS Professional Examination year wise 
  6. MBBS Degree Certificate/ Provisional Certificate from the concerned University. 
  7. Internship Completion Certificate/Certificate from the Head of Institution or College that the candidate shall complete the Internship by 31st March, of the year of admission/ or if required the date as decided by the Competent Authority. 
  8. Permanent / provisional Registration Certificate issued by MCI/NMC. 
  9. Attempt certificate (if any) 
  10. Transfer Certificate from the institution last studied 
  11. Migration Certificate from the institution last studied 
  12. Character and conduct certificate 
  13. Registration certificate with Kerala State Medical Council has to be submitted within a period of one month from the date of admission, failing which his/ her admission shall stand cancelled. 
  14. Higher Secondary Certificate & Mark list 
  15. High School/ Birth Certificate as proof of date or birth. 
  16. Candidates allotted seat must carry one of the identification proofs (ID Proof) to the allotted college at the time of admission (as mentioned in the information Bulletin published by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) for NEET i.e. PAN Card, Driving License, Voter ID, Passport or Aadhaar Card). 
  17. Recent passport size color photographs – 6 nos 
  18. One set of Self attested copies of all certificates 
  19. Previous Experience Certificate (if any) 
  20. Relieving Order 
  21. Medical Certificate for fitness (as per the format prescribed) 
  22. The Candidate should also bring the following certificates, if applicable:
    • SC/ST Certificate issued by the competent authority (in the format as specified in the Information Bulletin) and should be in English or Hindi language. Sub caste should be clearly mentioned in the certificate. The translated certificate must be certified by a Gazetted Officer. 
    • EWS Certificate as per the Central Govt. Norms (in the format as specified in the Information Bulletin) and should be in English or Hindi language. The translated certificate must be certified by a Gazetted Officer. 
    • OBC certificate issued by the competent authority. The sub-caste should tally with the Central List of OBC. The OBC candidates should not belong to Creamy Layer. The OBC certificate must be in the format as mentioned in the prospectus. The translated certificate must be certified by a Gazetted Officer. 
    • Disability Certificate issued from a duly constituted and authorized Medical Board for 21 Benchmark Disabilities as per the Rights of Persons with Disability Act,2016 and NMC Norms. No other certificate, issued by any other Authorities/ Hospital will be entertained. The format of Certificate of Disability is annexed (1,2) in the Information Bulletin. 
    • NRI/ OCI candidates to bring sponsorship certificates, relevant documents etc. in original (same as uploaded on MCC mail) at the time of reporting/ admission

Important Note 

Candidates are instructed to keep a copy of the following certificates attested by a Gazetted Officer (Kerala): 

  • MBBS Degree Certificate 
  • MBBS Registration 
  • Internship Completion Certificate 
  • High School Certificate/ Birth Certificate 

In addition to the above, NRI candidates are required to produce the below documents: 

  1. Documents claiming that the sponsor is an NRI (Passport, Visa of the sponsor). 
  2. Relationship of NRI with the candidate as per the court orders of The Hon’ble Supreme Court of India in case W.P.(c) No. 689/2017- Consortium of Deemed Universities in Karnataka (CODEUNIK) & Ans. Vs Union of India & Ors. dated 22-08- 2017. 
  3. Affidavit from the sponsor that he/ she will sponsor the entire course fee of the candidate duly notarized. 
  4. Embassy Certificate of the Sponsor (Certificate from the Consulate). 
  5. NEET Score Card of the candidate. 
  6. Copy of passport and visa of the candidate (for Foreign Nationality) 

Candidates without original certificates/ documents shall not be allowed to take admission in allotted Medical College. 

Candidates who have deposited their original documents with any other Institute / College/ University and come for admission with a certificate stating that “their original certificates are deposited with the Institute / College / University” shall not be allowed to take admission in allotted Medical College/Institute.

Admission Cancellation and Refunds

2 Candidate cancels admission (in any circumstance) leaving the seat vacant for the entire course duration First year Course Fees paid will not be refunded. In addition to this, residents should pay the Tuition Fees for the remaining course duration (as applicable to each course) as liquidated damages to the institution.
