Abstract : A hexagonal monopole antenna with polarization reconfiguration is proposed. Circular polarisation is achieved by providing current path between the augmented stripline which placed beneath the radiating element and the ground plane. Type of circular polarization depends on position of the current path. Two PIN Diodes are used to achieve reconfiguration in polarisation. Linear Polarisation (LP) and Circular Polarisation (CP) are achieved by different combinations of diode switching state. Using HFSS software the simulation parameters such as S11, gain and axial ratio are studied.
