Abstract : The current state of power engineering is characterized by several factors and trends that shape its landscape. These include advancements in renewable energy technologies, increasing demand for electricity, evolving regulatory frameworks, and the need for sustainable and efficient power generation and distribution systems. Power engineering, the rapid advancement in the manufacture of energy electronics, has led to the widespread acceptance of microgrids (MG). Direct current (DC) MGs have also gained further interest because of the benefits of DC delivery schemes, such as minimized damages and quick alignment of energy-loading resources. A DCMG containing numerous fonts is a significant exploration subject with the rise in distributed output. In this multisource DCMG, the task is to deliver voltage help and strong value sharing. Becoming essential ensures the consistency of power and performance of MG; the control technique includes a thorough analysis of the “state-of-the-art” control procedures in DCMGs. This portion offers a description of the main and secondary control mechanisms within the DCMG hierarchy. In specific, the primary control approaches to internal loop and droop control are studied. The secondary regulation is a centralized, distributed, and autonomous solution. Key outcomes and potential patterns are now finally presented.
