Abstract : In this paper, new closed-form expressions of the cumulative distribution function (CDF), average symbol error rate (ASER), and average channel capacity for κ−µ/Inverse Gamma shadowed fading channels have been derived. The derived expression for the CDF is expressed in terms of the dual variable Hypergeometric Humbert Φ1 function and is used to evaluate the outage probability. Whereas, the expressions for ASER and channel capacity are in the form of the Meijer G-function. The expression for ASER is used to evaluate the performance of multi-hop communication links. Our analytical derivations are validated via Monte-Carlo simulation and numerical results.
