Abstract : Being the second most populated country in the world, India accounts for twenty percentage of global disease burden. Lack of access to efficient healthcare at the time of emergency is one of the prime issues which needs to be addressed. The proposed GIS Based Emergency Healthcare Infrastructure Mapping provides a robust mechanism which facilitates in mapping the most efficient health-care center for treating diseases such as Gynecology, cardiology and Bronchiectasis etc. In the users vicinity at critical situations by using Geographical Information System (GIS). Since the vital real time parameters such as availability of doctors, equipment etc., are considered, the proposed system excels in providing an efficient healthcare center mapping for a particular search by the user via shortest route. The proposed work is carried out by using ArcGIS and administered within Mysuru city, India.
