Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, has initiated Serve an Hour (SaH) program in an effort to bring its students to explore the real creativity within.
A team of six third-year BTech students from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, named 'Cyber Sena', won the top award at the Smart India Hackathon 2018 by developing a secure system for the Ministry of Defence, Government of India. Their app enables easy transfer of data from one network to another through trusted sources.
The Btech students of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, won the top award at Smart India Hackathon 2018 for developing a security system for the Ministry of Defence. The solution enables easy transfer of data from one network to another through trusted sources. The team consisting of ethical hacking enthusiasts aims to provide secured external USB devices and preventing unauthorized access to the data copied on it.

A 33-member team of students, Team Agraganya, from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and Department of Mechanical Engineering of School of Engineering, Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Amritapuri Campus, competed in the 'Electric Only' category of Formula Hybrid 2018 hosted by the Thayer School of Engineering, Dartmouth, USA, from April 30 to May 3, 2018.
