The post graduate program in social work at Amrita University is unique in many ways. The first and primary one being the fact that Mata Amritanandamayi is the beacon of all the efforts of Amrita University's program. The core agenda of the program is to infuse social commitment in the students by providing practical situations to encounter during their course. The course of two years(4 Semesters) will enable the students to imbibe the fundamental principles of social work and practice them in real life situations. The program incorporates a methodology by which the candidates evolve themselves to a new individually committed level and transform the society they live in.
